Hi all,
This one has had me scratching my head for a while. Presently I have two offices that are running off one ADSL connection. I have ubiquiti radio on the roof of both offices and a router that handles the DHCP and everything else in one location with the second location just running a large switch and patch panel.
This solution has been working working fine for about four going on five years, but we are quickly outgrowing the bandwidth that this provides. It is likely that we will get a second ADSL connection in the second location.
Is there any way that I could put the ERX in the second location and have it handle the load balancing and DHCP and everything else for both locations? It would be super easy if I installed a second lot of radios - but this seems silly, im sure there is a networking solution to this problem. I CANT put the second adsl connection in the first office due to port availability.
The other option is to forget load balancing all together(which would be fine) and just allow the router to be smart enough to send traffic over the radio to the other office when transfering files or other "local" traffic and for each location to use their own ADSL connection and DHCP server (but on different ip ranges).
Any ideas on how to put me in the right direction ?
