We've had a few clients off different access points reporting issues with their VoIP quality recently, dropped words or static and there doesnt' seem to be an obvious cause. Our initial investigation shows ping and jitter rates are good (sub 20 ms) and there is little to no packet loss through the entire network.
We run everyhing OSPF but have no specific configurations for VoIP traffic.
I'm looking for ideas/suggestions as to what might be happening. If you have a suggestion or think there is something we should be doing please feel free to treat me like a 4 year old and explain in simple terms with as much detailed direction as you can manage.
