I picked up this switch from Amazon recently, used. When I plug in the power switch, I get a power light and after a few seconds, a LAN port will light, if a cable is plugged in, but no IP address will be provided.
I have tired the following:
Dynamic IP address - not resolved, or ends up resolving in the 169.254.30.x IP address. I've AngryIP scanned the setup w/ no host/DHCP server found. No success.
Setting a static IP address, in the 192.168.1.x area, assuming the default DHCP protocol is in that range as a default. No success.
Connecting my USB to TTL cable, per these instruction here or here, connected via putty, direction here, and watched the boot output. The attached image is what I see. Junk, not a U-boot menu. I've waited, no success. I hit the appropriate key strokes, no success. I've setup a TFTP server on the network w/ a copy of the 1.9 bin file, no success.
Any help or suggestions, besides return to sender?
