I currently have 2 internet connections (eth0 and eth2) setup as load balancing so that when my first connection fails, the other one kicks in. This seems to work, when I turn off the modem of my main connection, the other takes over within a minute or so.
For my guest WLAN I'm using a VLAN (eth1.30) which used to work fine before, but now it doesn't anymore. When I turn off the second connection it works great again so I guess one is connected to the other.
2 questions:
- Can I shorten the time in which the failover is done? It currently takes a minute or so.
- How can I setup the VLAN using 2 connections? At this time I have eth2 disabled but am not paying for a second connection to not use it.
