So i just picked up a edgerouter lite, i upgraded to 1.9 and am about to configure DHCP to replace my MS server 2012 DHCP server, my problem is i have 2 GWs so some devices go out GW1(edgerouter) and some devices go out GW2, by default when you setup DHCP it only allows you to put in the 1 GW device, if i setup a 2nd DHCP server with 0 Leases and just configure it for GW2 so LAN1GW1 and LAN1GW2,could i have all my static leases setup on the 2nd DHCP server for GW 2, or is there a chance that DHCP server 1 will still pickup the MAC addy and assign it a ip. The 2nd problem i'm having is right now i have 1 DHCP server setup to give IPs out form the .80-.100 range my macbook gets picked up at .81, from there i clicked MAP to static, i gave it an address of .36, if i then go do a DHCP release/renew it comes back and picks up a ip of .82 not sure why when i have set the static map, is there a problem with static maps in ver 1.9?
