Home lab setup

I am trying to set up the EdgeRouter ERLite‑3 for my home lab.

I want to have a separate subnet that I will have a windows DHCP server in to provide addresses for a test VDI lab using 10.0.2.x/24.

My Internet comes in through Fibre and is connected to a PPOE router that has a DCHP scope configured giving out 10.0.1.x/24 addresses via WiFi and also sends this subnet through my house via powerline.

I would like one of the endpints of this powerline to connect to a switch and have a cable from that connect to my ERLite‑3 and then have a separate subnet without DCHP of 10.0.2.x/24 from the ERLite‑3 that then connects to a switch then on to my lab. I want to be able to see the 10.0.2.x/24 subnet from my laptop that is connected to the wifi 10.0.1.x/24 subnet and i want both subnets to be able to get to the internet.

Lastly I want the Windows server provided DHCP scope of 10.0.2.0/24 to not interfere with the 10.0.1.0/24 scope.

I have tried setting eth0 to static 10.0.1.254 and eth 2 to static 10.0.2.254 and connecting to thier respective switches and managed to get close but mt WiFi clients were then getting DHCP 10.0.2.x addresses and i dot know how that is,

I hope this makes sense and is achievable.

I am new to networking and cannot get this to work.
