My apt-sources.list looks thusly:
deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian wheezy main contrib non-free # wheezy # deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian wheezy-backports main # wheezy-backports # deb http://http.us.debian.org/debian wheezy-updates main # wheezy-updates #
When I do an "apt-get upgrade", package iproute is held back. If I try to install the update directly, it becomes obvious that the hold is because it is now dependent on package iproute2.
From what I've read, iproute2 (in Debian Wheezy) is rather broken, and specific fixes for that functionality were baked into EdgeMAX.
Does that mean that it would be a good idea _not_ to apply the iproute (and thus iproute2) package updates from Debian?
