I have an ER Pro running 1.8.5.
Its CPU utilization has been high, so I tried to enable VLAN offloading since the internet connection is via VLAN 15 on eth1.
It didn't seem to make a difference in CPU utilization, but there are some interesting effects in the GUI of interface throughput.
The traffic graph seems to "lose" the eth1.15 interface data about half the time. It will show for about 20 - 30 seconds then be zero for 20 - 30 seconds. Sometimes longer sometimes shorter, but it seems to balance out to around 50% of the time without actually putting a calculator to it. I usually disable showing the eth1 interface in the graph and just show eth1.15. When I show eth1, all the data is there.
BTW, can we make the graph colors selectable? All these earthtone colors are so close to one another that I sometimes have trouble discerning which color is which interface. I think it might be more legible at a glance in the Crayola 8 color palette. I'm not color-blind but when the color key is too far from the graph and the colors are too much in the same family, I just don't seem to be able to keep the exact color mapped in my head, especially when the samples are small. Maybe if the graph stacked them in the same order as the key shows them, it would help me? Probably not a lot of people are as lacking in asthetic style as I am.
