Hello,
need assistance in router choice.
two isp(s) att UVERSE 20x4 mbits/sec , CABLE. 50x10 mbits/sec
one office lan, individual physical desktops, and individual virtual machines as desktops.
physical copper office lan has nominal 1 gigabit/sec.
dlink non managed switch.
virtual machines nic "cards" have bandwidth that reports at 1.03 gigabits/sec
(virtual switch in the server is slightly faster than wired lan)
server for virtual machines has single 1.0 gig nic
remote users access system using remote desktop RDP.
remote users request RDP using publicip:uniquesockets, that are port forwarded
to physical or virtual desktops ip addresses. internal socket is usually default 3389.
want the RDP uplink from the office returning to external user on CABLE.
would like to publish one public ip, hosted at a load balancing failover site.
so that both isp are used, with RDP users preferentially using CABLE for uplink.
router selection and consult needed to create router config.
any and all suggestions , especially simplifactions, accepted
Thanks
