I'm not entirely sure where to turn at this point. Here's my story;
I bought an EdgeRouter Lite September '16. Set it up, and it has been running great for two months. After two months, I needed to reboot my router as I was reconfiguring some other network components.
I noticed it was quite warm.
The router did not reboot, the lights came on and the hardware seemingly indicated all was okay, however the router was not responding on its IP address via a PING or its web interface. After 3 or 4 attempts at powering on, I turned it off for 30 minutes and powered it back on - and it came back up.
However - it seemed to be acting up at this point. It wasn't responding to some dns queries, i.e., some devices on my network were discoverable - others were not. So - I rebooted it again, and it seemed okay.
Give it another month - during which time it has been fine and hasn't been touched (nor rebooted) - and we come to today. I was having slow DNS responses, and a generally slow feeling network - so I decided to give eveything a reboot (plus I'd recieved a new ap ac lite for christmas and wanted to start setting that up..).
Anyhow - the router failed to respond again. I gave it 20 minutes to cool down, started it up - and the web interface responded - however, after 20 minutes it stopped responding to everything again.
I tried talking to online support who suggested I run through the last resort recovery process - however, that would require me having a serial cable of which I do not have.
The router is still under warranty, but I work from home and don't have a replacement in the mean time.
Should I RMA? Should I buy a Serial cable and give that a go? Can support cross ship a replacement so I don't have any down time?
I've attached my configuration incase that might be of help.
