How to set up DSL modem in trans. bridge mode for admin port

So I have an Actiontec 784 modem in transparent bridge mode.  IP address to eth0 is assigned by the telco via DHCP.  Everything works as it should.

It has 4 ports of wired ethernet on it.  The first ethernet port is connected to eth0 on my EdgeRouter X.  If I plug my laptop into the second ethernet port and configure it's ethernet port to static IP 192.168.0.2, I can get to the admin page for the DSL modem by hitting the web page for 192.168.0.1.

What I want to do is be able to punch in 192.168.0.1 on any browser on the LAN (which is the 192.168.1.1/24 subnet) and have it pop up the DSL admin page.  My ERX is full (all 4 LAN ethernet ports are used) so plugging in a second ethernet cable from the DSL modem to a second port on the ERX is not a solution.

I don't *think* it a problem with the modem not responding on port 1 to 192.168.0.1 requests (but I can't be sure).

So far I've tried the following:

Source NAT rule with Dest address of 192.168.0.1 out to eth0 using both masquerading and specifying 192.168.0.2

Added a VLAN config for eth0 for 192.168.0.2 and using the source NAT rule above out of eth0.1

No NAT rule and the VLAN config (shows entry in router table)

Nothing seems to work.  I can't ping it from the LAN or the web interface toolbox.

Has anyone set this up and gotten it working?
