Hello,
I have a Edge-Lite, hopefully this is the right place to ask this question (please direct me elsewhere if it's not).
Is there a way I can track / log the sate of the WAN port (eth1) on my Edge-lite router? I'm having some issues with my ISP where their supplied modem is dropping it's ethernet port on a regular (~ every 30 mintues) basis and taking about 30 seconds to come back up. Their support desk is insisting it must be my equipment, I'm pretty sure it's not (partially becasue lots of their other users are on their forum complaining about the same thing all with different equipment) and I'd like some evidence to back it up.
I've tried looking at the graphs and logs accessible via the default web UI and I can't seem to find what I want. What I'd really like is a log that tracks state changes on the eth1 port and with timestamps. Is that already available and I just can't find it? If not is there way I can configure some logging via the CLI to capture this kind of information?
Any help / thoughts (even RTFM references to the appropiate bit of the FM because I did look!) would be appricated.
Thanks,
Ben.
