We've now got our edge router pro's setup with all the features we needed with some hacky config changes.
Netflow is configured and going to our sniffer which detects DoS/DDoS attacks and then renders a graph, other things etc.
What's the performance hit when having netflow running and sampling packets (sample rate of 1)?
Does netflow still disable HW offloading as I am currently seeing it disabled for IPv4.
Is there any examples of rate limiting rules in order to protect from minor DoS/DDoS attacks, before our PPS/Mbps threshold is reached on the sniffer (the sniffer issues a BGP blackhole).
Any help would be greatly appreciated
