I was curious if anybody else has seen external interface ports show open that are closed after a few days of uptime.
My testing is using the Shields UP scan site (www.grc.com) to check for open ports on my external interface. On a fresh reboot and tested for a number or hours / day one of uptime the test all show closed or stealth as they should for the ports 1 - 1023. After 3 or so days of uptime I start seen port 443 and 22 respond as open.
Nothing has changed on the config and if I restart the router they show as stealth again. I will try to rescan daily to see if it is anything that is replicated over time...
Any thoughts?
