I pulled a simple config file off the smallnetwork builder site here:
http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/lanwan/lanwan-howto/32014-how-to-configure-your-ubiquiti-edgerouter-lite
Downloaded to router config file here: http://www.smallnetbuilder.com/mydownloads/ubnt_erl/ubnt_erl_2lan_w_dhcp.tar.gz
Went in and changed the IP subnet on eth1 from 192..168.1.0/24 to 192.168.0.0/24 because I have some 40-50 devices manually configured on the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet I'd reather not reconfigure - deleted the DHCP servier service entry for the old subnet and made a new one for the "new" ...0.1/24 subnet.
Here is the really strange bit and I could really use some help.............
The DHCP lease address range on both interfaces/subnets is from ....51 to ...101
If I pull an address on eth2 / 192.168.2.0/24 - I successfully pull an IP address from the DHCP server on the eth2 interface - but I get no internet access and can't access the router GUI on 192.18.2.1
If I manually set the IP address on interface eth2 - I get internet access, and can't get router GUI access at most ....2.0/24 subnet address, but do get router GUI when the IP address is set to 192.168.2.90. I verified that the DNS IP address(s) listed in both DHCP server configs on each ethernet port are correct, as is the system DNS IP address.
even stranger..............
on eth1 I was able to pull a DHCP address in the 192.168.0.1 subnet - when I pull an IP address from DHCP on eth1, I get rotuer GUI access on 192.168.0.1, but no interent access. If I manually configure any IPaddress in the 192.168.0.0/24 subnet on the eth1 port - I get internet - but can't access the router GUI.
What the hell is going on. Need someone smarter than me to please tell me what I have jacked up - because I know I am missing something.
THANKS MUCH BIG TIME TO ANY AND ALL WHO TAKE A FEW MINUTES TO HELP ME UNSCREW THIS.
Happy Thanksgiving also....
problem RTR config is attached.
Best regards,
Gregg
