Hi everyone,
Could somebody possibly help? My small business client are looking to upgrade their existing router: Netgear ProSafe FVS336G. This router currently has 2 x fibre, load balanced WAN PPoE connections from the same ISP. The company wish to add a 3G/4G mobile broadband failover soultion in the event of a fixed WAN connecrion outage and will be sourcing a Huawei 4Go solution for this purpose.
The Netgear only supports 2 WAN interfaces asis. As an option, the company are investigating the EdgeMAX EdgePro router as a contender if an additional WAN interface can be configured to operate as a failover in the event of a fixed WAN connection catastrophe.
I'm confident the router will support an addional WAN interface configuration but am unsure if and how this would be acheivable. Is there anyone who could offer an opinion on this task?
Many thanks in advance for any help received
