A vendor is telling me I need the following settings on our network(which is all edgeswitches)
IGMP snooping
mDNS snooping (for both VLANs)
Google Chromecast mDNS string should be added to mDNS service on the WLC (_googlecast._tcp.local.)
Multicast traffic
If networking multicast traffic to a specific group address, networking changes may be necessary to ensure mDNS requests reach the Network Controller.
Network Controller must be able to:
Listen for MDNS traffic
Listen for SSDP traffic
Make TCP connections to guest devices on ports 8008 and 2346
How does this translate to settings on Edgeswitches?
