Has anyone here had any luck getting Digium Phones using DMPA to *provision* over a site-to-site IPSEC VPN connection (ERL3 in my case)?
If I provision the phone in the core network, it will work as expected when moved to the remote end of the IPSEC tunnel. But I cannot get a defaulted phone to provision over the tunnel.
- I avoid the usual mDNS discovery issue by manually entering the PBX IP manually
- the phone fetches the extension list as expected
- I choose my extension and get the usual "fetching config" message
The phone then appears to load up but is not functional. Presence isn't working (it says "Digium" beside line key one, instead of my name), and I cannot make outgoing calls (fast busy).
The phone works normally across the tunnel when using SIP only instead of DPMA.
Any ideas here would be appreciated, I've read dozens of pages of forum posts with no clear progress.
