ERPoE5 + DNS forwarding (disable dnsmasq) - NOOB

Hi all,

Having some more teething issues with the ER. I decided to try Pi-Hole on a spare Raspberry Pi 3 and it was all looking good until I realised my iMac (main computer on the network) still had it's DNS servers set to ISP.

Mobile devices weren't seeing ads and I was getting hits on the Pi-Hole dashboard but, when trying to play around with the config, I made it worse and now it's not working at all for any device on the network Man Sad

I've been Googling for ages to confirm the right config for the ER but most are leaving dnsmasq enabled.

Here's how my network is setup, very basic. ERPoE5 + AP AC Pro. No switch, ER is in bridge mode with a single DHCP server. Cable modem is on eth0, AP is on eth4 with PoE. I've got static IP's for a few devices but everything is wireless except for a NAS.

Router is on 192.168.0.1

I've set the Pi up on 192.168.0.15

My ISP's DNS servers are; 61.9.194.49 & 61.9.195.193 (I find these perform better than Google)

Forwarding was on with cache size set to 0.

Listen interface is set to br0

Should I set the Pi's IP as DNS server in DHCP config?

Now, I know I've got this horribly wrong, just wondering how to fix it.

Thanks in advance.
