I get both internet access and IPTV from my swedish ISP Telia. If I understand everything correct the internet isn't connected to any VLAN but the IPTV is connected to the VLAN 845.
My setup today is that Im seperating the VLAN 845 to one port on my EdgeRouter-X and connect my STB to that port. And that works fine.
But Telia has an wireless solution for the STBs and that is that you can connect a Technicolor TG-234 as a transmiter to the VLAN 84 port and connect the STB to another TG-234. My question is it possible to ger rid of the TG-234 transmitter and use my UAP-AC-Lite instead?
In the Wireless network meny for the UAP-AC-Lite you can use VLAN ID to a specific wireless network. Could I just connect the cable from the ISP to the EdgeRouter-X and not seperate the VLAn 845 from my ISP and instead pass VLAN 845 through to the UAP-AC-Lite and seperate the VLAN 845 using the Wireless network?
