connect my new edgeswitch lite to edgerouter or pfsense?

Hello All..

I think I have looked at too many youtube videos.  I an purchasing an edgeswitch lite (24 port) and am very excited.

I watched a ew videos on the  edgewsitch with POE passthrough and thought it would be really great to use.

I plan to put my switch behind a pfsense box for security.

So here is my question:

Should I connect edgeswitch -> edgerouter -> pfsense  OR

                         edgeswitch -> edgerouter                   OR

                        edgeswitch -> pfsense 

 My goal is to have a great system behind a firewall, and I think I need the pfsense as I did not see the edgerouter being anything but a router (no slam intended)

Can someone provide some comment on this?
