edgerouter lite very high cpu load when downloading @ 200mbit

Hey,

edgerouter lite with firmware 1.9.0

eth0 - wan (gbit to modem, 200/10mbit internet connection)

eth1 - lan1, no dhcp, no dns

eth2 - lan2 (guest, untagged), dhcp and dns

eth2.6 - temporary vlan network, tagged, dhcp and dns

everything is ipv4

offload should be enabled :

IP offload module : loaded
IPv4
forwarding: enabled
vlan : enabled
pppoe : disabled
gre : disabled
IPv6
forwarding: enabled
vlan : enabled
pppoe : disabled

IPSec offload module: loaded

Traffic Analysis :
export : enabled
dpi : enabled

now, when I access a server on lan1 from lan2 and transfer a file via smb I do get 900+ mbits and the cpu doesnt really sweat.

however, today I noticed, when downloading something (on lan1) from the internet, cpu load will go up to 100%

top on the cli shows

very high (40-50%) for ksoftirqd each

now and then ubnt-util will go up to 10%

dpi is enabled, I also tried disabled and doesnt seem to make a difference

there are a few IN NAT and firewall rules in affect, but they are pretty simple

now, I just dont understand why ~200mbit traffic on WAN would create such a high cpu load, especially when offload is active. even more so when other traffic going through (from lan1 to lan2) doesnt

isnt this device supposed to be able to push 800mbit? something doesnt feel right...

Please help me get to the bottom of this...!
