ArsTechnica did a roundup of some router options. They included two Ubiquiti routers, the EdgeRouter Pro, and the UniFi Security Gateway.
It already got mentioned in the UniFi forum (see: forum post) but I didn't see any discussion of it here.
The ERPRo does quite well. The USG, not so much. (With the implication that the ERLite would fair similarly to the USG.)
Any comments on the validity of the results?
"[The USG] is a pretty good value at that price, but contrary to popular reports, neither it nor the ERL are what I'd call a "gigabit" router."
"But perhaps the biggest bit of praise for the EdgeRouter Pro. It clearly beats the Homebrew 2.0, hands down and across the board. No other device tested can say that."
