I am currently running an OpenVPN roadwarrior setup with certificate based authentication only. I would like to add user/pass for two factor auth. OpenVPN provides the auth-pam.pl sample script for this. This file is in the following location on the ERL:
/usr/share/doc/openvpn/examples/sample-scripts/auth-pam.pl
Has anyone used this script in their ERL openvpn config?
If so, where should the sample script be moved for production purposes?
Does anyone have another or better way of implementing user/pass auth for openvpn on the ERL?
I have searched through many openvpn configs here, but haven't seen any real samples including user/pass auth.
