I've about had it with this router.
I have a solar powered tower and this router is going to be the death of me! The router will work for a couple of months and then just lock up. When it starts locking up, it won't even run for an hour (45 min is average.)
The system is a 24 V solar. Voltage on the system floats between 22.8V and 29.8V depending on the time of year and temp. You can read about the initial issues here:

We have a voltage regulator that keeps the system power to the router and radios at 21.5V which is well within the 18-26V range recomended by
To date, I've had 6 ER-5-poes on this tower in 3 years. The latest was last night. When the tower started locking up, I replaced the router with a brand new one and it repeated the exact issues. No more than 45 min of uptime no matter what. When it locks up, all of the poe ports still power the radios, but it won't pass traffic and you can't communicate with it from any port, including the serial port.
I've run OS versions from 1.2 to 1.9 and they all do it.
Right now, we've swapped out for an ER-X-sfp, but really want the traffic analysis capabilities.
