When connecting a computer directly to my modem, a simple speedtest test gives me around 900/470 consistently.
When routing via my ProPOE, speeds are 500/300.
I've read plenty of prior threads here and tried most of the suggestions given by people. These include the following:
- Enabling forwarding offload as recommended here
- Tried to enable hwnat as suggested here, but I get an error message saying that hwnat is not supported
- Checked the interface as recommended here, but all is correct (1000Mb/s, full duplex)
- Disabled the bridge interface (discussed in the thread here), but no difference in speed
I'm using IPv4 and IPv6, with NAT on IPv4. I'm running a fairly standard firewall configuration. I have three networks behind the router, one of which is on a VLAN.
I guess my first question is: With this network configuration, should I expect these slow speeds?
