I'm new to VPN, managed to get a PPTP server working on my ER-X. I used this guide and then opened the PPTP and GRE ports on the firewall. https://help.ubnt.com/hc/en-us/articles/205220840-EdgeMAX-PPTP-VPN-with-local-users-RADIUS
When I connect to the VPN server remotely, I see two routes added automatically on the ER-X. One is the PPTP client's IP address (from the PPTP client IP pool) and the other is an unknown IP 10.255.254.0/32 which I don't recognize.
Can anyone briefly education me on where that other IP might come from?
