It might sound like a silly idea but it's actually not. I have a few different dubnets and some devices (that require a fixed IP address) are moving between those subnets. But EdgeOS will not let me configure the same MAC address for different DHCP servers on different subnets. I can't see why because this should be perfectly legal as each device can only be connected to one subnet at the time.
It's not all that fun to have to manually set the IP address each time devices move between subnets, and I would rather not have to set op separate boxes for each DHCP server when my ER Lite should be able to handle this.
Anyone know a workaround for this? If not, this should be considered a feature request
