unfortunatly I didn't find anything regarding this topic. Perhaps one of you can help me.
We have several EdgeRouter in action. As they are our firewall and gateway solution, we set them up redundantly. Vrrp-groups are working totally fine for us, but the configuration gets more complex. So we now have multiple VPN tunnel with OSPF routing, DHCP services and user based VPN. We have to configure both devices at the moment and make sure that these services are disabled on the backup device.
If the active device would break now, I would have to enable all services manually. A way to get this job done automatically would be to adjust the failover scripts. But this would be another script which one has to keep actual.
So my question is, is there is a way at the sync the configuration to the hot standy (for example something like "save to mate"), which I had overlooked until now and if there is already a possibility to automatically enable disabled services?
