Upgrading my normal modem/router adsl line with few APs with a barely average networking knowledge. I just got a new 100mb fibre line.
Just ordered an ER-8, a TS-8 and few TS-5 to support 4 floors with 3-4 UAP each floor.
Please comment on my WI-FI design if it sounds like trouble.
My WAN will go to ER-8 and going to setup 1 WAN+2LAN. TS-8 will link to ER-8.
My TS-8 will link to each TS-5 on other floors.
Each TS-5 will support 3-4 UAP AC LITE with POE.
I need a DHCP pool size for 500 for 1st LAN port just for the APs.
Later, if i have the budget to add more APs to extend coverage, so new TS-5 switch will go to 2nd LAN port and maybe hybrid setup with wired pcs with 10/100 switch link to TS-5.
So i have to reserve at least 10 ip for first DHCP server port for all my switches.
Same goes to second DHCP port.
sounds ok so far? thanks!
