Greetings! I can't seem to get my VLAN up and running properly with DHCP.
I need to set up 3 different VLANS to separate traffic. One internal master network, one VLAN for wireless access (guest wifi via UniFi AP), and one VLAN for credit card processing (per requirements by the credit card processing companies - compliance demands that CC transactions be completely segregated from all other network traffic, and I'd like to keep guest traffic off my internal network).
I do not use the CLI as I'm not comfortable with it (not a network engineer... just a guy who needed business class hardware for my small business, remembers the good old days of config.sys, and figured I'd be able to handle the Edgerouter Lite). As such, I generally use the GUI.
Attached is a screenshot of all relevant settings I can find in the GUI.
Hardware setup:
Arris Surfbord 6141 Modem
Edgerouter Lite (current 1.80 firmware)
Procurve HP 1820-24G-PoE+ switch
Modem -> Eth 1
Procurve Switch -> Eth 0
Eth 2 is currently unused.
I have the following set up on my Procurve switch (see screenshots for confirmation):
Port 12 & 14 - Excluded on VLAN 1, Untagged on VLAN 20
Port 24 (trunk to Eth 0) - Tagged on VLAN 1, Tagged on VLAN 20
Port 12 is open as a management port so I can hardline in to control the UniFi AP. Port 14 is the UniFi AP.
For the DHCP server, I set up the server on VLAN 20 to match what was on VLAN 1. However, after getting everything set up... the DHCP on VLAN 20 doesn't work. DCHP, NAT, Masquerade settings, DNS Forwarding... all settings on eth0.20 match eth0. However, when I connect my laptop directly to port 12, I get no IP address or internet connection. Hardline into any other port, I'm back on VLAN 1, and everything is peachy.
Looking at the VLAN help articles, I couldn't see anything that jumped out as wrong on my setup.
So... can someone tell me what I'm missing?
