Sorry if this one is a bit of basic question.
Ok, so I have a EdgeRouter POE (or Lite) that is running DHCP with a LAN subnet of 192.168.5.0/24.
All of this equipment is remote, so ideally I'd like to avoid having to re-cable anything.
This is my current routing table:
I have a switch plugged into one of the LAN ports, and into that switch is plugged a wireless AP.
That wireless AP also has an address in the 192.168.5.0/24 address space.
However, I'd like to do an upgrade of th firmware on the wireless AP - and as part of that, it's address may reset to 192.168.1.1.
My question is - when the device comes back up, will I be able to reach it at 192.168.1.1, in order to configure it?
Or do I need to do something with the routes, to allow that address to be routable/reachable?
