I think I've got my head wrapped around the best way to setup a network I'm working on but I wanted to get another opinion. I will let you know what I have and how I've planned to set it up and hopefully someone can let me know what they think.
The isp is Comcast business with the standard modem/router combo set in bridge mode. That runs into a Edge Router lite. I need to create two different networks each with a 48 port cisco small business switch. Someone suggested VLANS but I don't think I need to do so because I have two ports coming out of the ERL that I can assign two of the 5 static IP addresses that I get from comcast to eth1 and eth2 on the ERL that will exit to each cisco switch. Thoughts? Suggestions?
