ERX repeatedly requiring reboot to function

I have an ERX with firmware 1.9.1 setup in a simple configuration derived from the setup wizard - WAN eth0, NAS eth1, LAN eth2 (eth2-eth4 in switch mode but not connected until I can get this stable).

 

Several times a day, usually at times when the network is being used (e.g. in the evening but not usually the middle of the night) the ERX will stop routing or responding to any packets, including access to the web UI and pings. The lights on the unit flash as if packets are being received from the connected interfaces so the hardware is still functioning at some level. A power cycle is required to restore router functionality however.

 

I've read through a number of forum threads but not found any solutions. I tried disabling hwnat offloading but that didn't seem to improve anything. I've tailed the logs during a lockup and setup remote syslog and seen nothing of interest. I've had top running and system load seems normal.

 

Any suggestions on how to proceed with debugging this issue would be gratefully received.
