Hi community!
First time poster, new user to the ERX (Or any of the UBNT line). Could use a little bit of help here, because I think I'm missing some pretty basic stuff.
The long-short of it all is - my router is not routing between VIFs and I'm not sure why. I think I'm missing something simple, but I figured that's where you guys will be helpful. There will be no firewall (to start) and no NAT (ever) in this configuration, so the routing should be easy (I thought)
Quick Config:
eth0: WAN (For simplicity - we will not be trying to route through this.) 192.168.1.253
eth1:
eth1.16 VIF 16, 192.168.16.254
eth1.17 VIF 17 192.168.17.254
eth2.19 VIF 19 192.168.19.254
eth3-4 disconnected.
No Firewall
No NAT
I have a device on vlan 16, and a device on vlan 19 to start. For simplicity sake.
- VMware ESXi v5.5, 192.168.16.3, vlan 16 tagging set
- Can Ping Gateway
- VMware ESXi v.5.5, 192.168.19.4, vlan 19 tagging set
- Can Ping Gateway
If I try to do anything that is more than ICMP - all traffic fails.
Attached are configs & ip route
