I have an ERL with 1.9 installed.
Currently I have a 200down / 30up connection with my cable modem at the head end of our network.
We have never really hit a ceiling at our network because of low usage but have noticed in the last few weeks that hitting anything past 50-60 is a hard task.
We opened a ticket with our provider to confirm MTU settings and had a tech dispatched to check the connection.
Everything on their end is in order.
If I plug in my laptop directly I get a steady 200/30 connection.
As soon as I plugin the ERL and try the same speed test I can barely hit 100/30
Our config seems fairly straight forward.
There is nothing on ETH0, ETH1 is our modem connection and ETH2 is our LAN.
The Lan side has 2 VLans on it for 2 other sites that are connected via PowerBeam antennas.
We distribute our network via OSPF and that part is working flawlessly. Our only issue at the moment is the throughput capacity of the connection once used with the ERL.
We have used the same network cable to do all our testing and have swapped cables to ensure it wasn't a fluke that it worked. Everything shows up as GIG and no errors on the ports.
The speed tests were done with a laptop on ETH2 on the ERL without the switch or wireless devices plugged in to ensure no other external network devices could be the issue.
I have ensured that the LAN ports are not bridged as previously found in some forum articles.
Any bursts of genius as to what this may be?
