Port 80 not working from hairpin NAT

Sorry I know there are many posts on this topic, I'm new to the EdgeRouter Lite and am struggling a bit.

I work for a school that has just switched to the ERL, working in the GUI.  We have Eth0 configured with 3 IP's, one of which is our public server that sits on the LAN.  I created firewall & NAT rules to allow the server to be visible, no problem, works fine from the WAN.  Then I created hairpin NAT rules to allow the public address of the server to be used from the LAN on Eth1.  This works fine, with the exception of port 80.  Trying to access the public server's web site from the LAN, the ERL redirects the request to port 443 of the GUI.  I tried disabling the automatic hairpin NAT on the Port Forwarding tab, that stops the router from answering, but the redirect to port 443 still occurs, and we still cannot reach our server's web site, from the LAN.

I think the probelm could be that we are using a hairpin SNAT with a translation of "masquerade to Eth1".  This seems to trigger the redirect on the ERL, as if we were trying to access the GUI, although we aren't in this case, we're trying to reach the pubic server's web site.

I'm not sure how to resolve this.  I don't know if the problem is the redirect, or if something else is wrong.  Any suggestions would be welcome, especially if they offer solutions in the GUI.  Thanks!
