Hello all,
I'm not a port forwarding expert by any means, and I've found the Ubiquiti Forums to be super helpful, so hopefully someone out there can provide their expertise.
I have an EdgeRouter Pro, and I need to allow port forwarding on a particular subnet for my UniFi Video surveillance system. I have approx. 43 cameras and I'm using 2 UniFi NVRs. Eth3 from the router goes to a Toughswitch(both located in a server room) and from the ToughSwitch it goes to a 48 port UniFi switch that is located at our security desk. I have a powerful Asus gaming PC at the desk that operates 3 monitors (Left and Middle monitor for NVR1, and Right Monitor for NVR2).
NVRs are accessed at the front desk via the Chrome browser, and I get 404 error everytime we restart the computer or need to log back into NVRs. We also get a bit of lag on video from the front desk PC, while any other PC or the mobile app work just fine.
In my forum searches, I've found it is recommended to open ports 7443 and 7446, but this is where it gets a little challenging for me.
I believe I should be setting a NAT rule on eth 3 on the EdgeRouter but I'm unsure of the proper configuration.
Below is the IP information that should be used:
NVR1-192.168.3.4
NVR2-192.168.3.5
Front Desk PC-192.168.3.9
Any help is much appreciated. Thanks
