Hi! I've just bougth an Edgerouter PoE. When I powered it up for the first time, the power led light up (green) as expected, but also the link light (right led) of port eth3 even though nothing was connected to the router at all. I connected to eth0 as described in the quick start guide and entered EdgeOS. There, it does _not_ show that anything is connected to the router except the active connection on eth0, which is as it should I guess. But the link light on eth3 still is green... In EdgeOS, 'switch0' is reported being active/connected (don't remember the exact phrasing right know), but that is as it should, right?
The router came with firmware 1.2 pre-installed, so I upgraded to latest 1.9 without problems - had no effect on the link light of eth3.
My question is if the light should light green eventhough nothing is connected to port eth3? Is this a hardware error?
See attatched picture; at the time of photo, the laptop was turned off - when connected to EdgeOS the led link light of eth0 were green and blinked as expected.
