Hi to everyone, I just received my first edgerouter x router and went through the wizard to no luck??
I have setup 1000's of Netgear, Dlink, etc types but this one if different for sure on setups.
I have my computer plugged in first on eth0 and did the basic wizard setup. I was able to get the lan ip of the router finally changed to: 192.168.5.1. Then I moved my computer cable over too eth1 and cannot get the dhcp I tried to setup as 192.168.5.100-200 to work??? I am going to use eth1 for my TPlink switch to hook too.
My computer will not pick up a ip? I have to manually set it to 192.168.5.22 to get back connected to the router on the GUI web interface.
I even tried to put the static ip address of my TWC internet in the wizard and it failed also? I don't have the modem hooked to it yet, because I cannot take the network down until I get this one pre-setup.
I don't understand what I am doing wrong? I am new to this type of brand, so please give me in detail exactly what to try and do.
