Disable password based user authentication

According to v1.9.0 changelog:

[CLI] Fix validation for "system login user authentication encrypted-password " to allow "!", which is valid for disabling password.

I can't find any extra documentation regarding this topic. Does this mean that the command to write is "set system login <username> authentication encrypted-password !" to disable password based authentication for a single user?
