I'm considering switching some field offices over to EdgeRouters. Not sure what model we'll be selecting yet, but for the proof of concept I'd like to pick up the least expensive models to test with (possibly even second hand hardware).
If I buy two of the EdgeRouter X models will they have similar features to the EdgeRouter Lite (or higher) model? For exmaple: will I be able to perform automatic WAN failover on the X, or is that limited to specific models? Are there other features (minus obvious ones, like lack of SFP or a console port) that would be missing from the X?
Alternatively, does Ubiquiti have a VM I could use for testing?
