Currently running a ER-X-SFP with v1.9 firmware. Seems any changes I make and commit via CLI are not represented in the backed up config files. Specifically VPN entries.
Which brings me to another point. I have yet to be able to setup a VPN via the GUI that works. I have several Cisco ASAv's in my datacenters that I need VPN's to. If I setup the tunnel via the GUI it fails phase 1, always. Cisco logs indicated a failure to set P1 proposal, or "NO_PROPOSAL_CHOSEN". If I setup the same tunnel via CLI it works fine. I don't get it.
I have no probem setting these up via CLI if that's what it takes. They work. I'm just concerned the VPN configs are not being backed up, which I cannot find them in the backed up config.
Anyone else run in to either of these issues? I see lots of threads on the VPN capabilities of these routers being somewhat problematic. I guess my other option would be to configure the VPN's directly in to the config files and import them.
