Just purchased and setup an EdgeRouter Lite using the wizard and some manual configuration. I already had 2 Unifi UAPs and Unifi Controller software running on a server. I had a few questions, that may sound dumb but just wanted to get clarification incase I am missing something:
1) Can I have the EdgeRouter integrated with the Unifi Controller so that wired clients would show up in the Unifi Controller or do I have to have an actual EdgeSwitch in order for this to work?
2) I also noticed an option in the EdgeRouter Lite to add the IP address of the Unifi Controller. What exactly does this function do if it doesn't integrate it into the Unifi Controller?
I know I've read on these forums that you need a USG to be able to integrate with the Unifi Controller but I was hoping to atleast be able to see the wired clients on the Controller.
